THE FINDERS NT
ABOUT THE FINDERS NT

A Journey Shaped by Land, Knowledge & Discovery

The Finders NT is the home of a remarkable journey that began with an unexpected discovery in Australia’s Northern Territory.
What followed was not a search for attention, but a search for understanding — bringing together land, history, culture, scholarship, geology, maps, memory, and reflection around one ancient object and the questions it raised.

OUR STORY

From One Discovery, A Wider Journey Began

The story begins at Scooters Roost NT, a property inland in the Northern Territory.
While working the land, restoring and maintaining a floodway and clay pit, Johnno uncovered the Seal. It was not found through treasure hunting or deliberate searching. It emerged through ordinary work, patience, and a close connection to the land.

WHY THE FINDERS NT EXISTS

To Understand With Care

The Finders NT exists to provide a calm and respectful place for exploring the Seal and the knowledge surrounding it.
The goal is not to build hype, force a single interpretation, or create a predetermined narrative.
Instead, the project is intended to offer clarity, support, and access to information while allowing understanding to unfold through careful research, reflection, and responsible exploration.

THE PATH TO UNDERSTANDING

Four Directions. Four Forms of Knowledge.

As questions surrounding the Seal grew, knowledge came from four directions. Each direction represents a different contribution to the journey.

Scholar, Guide & Foundation-Builder

East — Ed Liu

Ed helped establish the early foundations connecting the discovery with knowledge of the ancient world.

Geologist & Cultural Interpreter

West — John Taye Ajide

John brought knowledge of geology, metals, earth structures, cultures, and the stories held within the land.

Keeper of Maps, Texts & Legacy Knowledge

North — Ian Hudson

Ian contributed maps, texts, historical frameworks, maritime knowledge, and long-held research.

Driller, Land Steward & Finder

South — Johnno

Johnno’s role begins with the land itself — the place where the Seal was uncovered during everyday work at Scooters Roost NT.

THE CENTRE OF THE JOURNEY

Respect for the Earth, the Universe & All Life Within

The Seal is approached as more than an object of curiosity.
Within the project, it is understood as a guide, a reminder, and a symbol of respect for the Earth, the universe, and all life within.
Its meaning is not presented as belonging to one belief, one culture, or one path.
Instead, the journey begins with the individual — with the Source within — and expands outward into a wider sense of connection, responsibility, and care for the world we share.
