An Ancient Discovery. A Journey Still Unfolding.

THE SEAL

THE SEAL

A Discovery From the Land. A Journey Still Unfolding.

At the heart of The Finders NT is an ancient object discovered inland in Australia’s Northern Territory.

The project describes it as a Chinese relic whose discovery opened a wider journey of research, reflection, cultural understanding, and the search for a respectful pathway home.

WHERE THE STORY BEGAN

Unearthed at Scooters Roost NT

The Seal was uncovered at Scooters Roost NT, a property in Australia’s Northern Territory.
Its discovery did not begin with a treasure hunt or a search for ancient objects. It came through ordinary work on the land.
While clearing, restoring, and maintaining a floodway and clay pit, Johnno uncovered the object that would later become the centre of a much larger journey.
What began as part of everyday work gradually raised questions about history, origin, culture, and meaning.

THE PATH TO UNDERSTANDING

Four Directions. Four Forms of Knowledge.

As questions surrounding the Seal grew, knowledge came from four directions. Each direction represents a different contribution to the journey.

Scholar, Guide & Foundation-Builder

East — Ed Liu

Ed helped establish the early foundations connecting the discovery with knowledge of the ancient world.

Geologist & Cultural Interpreter

West — John Taye Ajide

John brought knowledge of geology, metals, earth structures, cultures, and the stories held within the land.

Keeper of Maps, Texts & Legacy Knowledge

North — Ian Hudson

Ian contributed maps, texts, historical frameworks, maritime knowledge, and long-held research.

Driller, Land Steward & Finder

South — Johnno

Johnno’s role begins with the land itself — the place where the Seal was uncovered during everyday work at Scooters Roost NT.

MEANING & PURPOSE

A Guide. A Reminder. A Symbol of Respect.

Within the project, the Seal is approached as more than an object of curiosity.
It is described as a guide, a reminder, and a symbol of respect for the Earth, the universe, and all life within.
Its purpose is not to force one interpretation, one belief, or one narrative. Instead, the Seal invites reflection and careful exploration.
The journey begins with the individual — with the Source within — and expands outward into a wider understanding of life, land, history, and connection.

RESPONSIBLE EXPLORATION

Knowledge Without Noise

The purpose of The Finders NT is not to build a dramatic story around the Seal.

It is to create a place where information, questions, research, and interpretation can be explored with care.

The intention is to preserve clarity, reduce distortion, and allow understanding to develop without external agendas or predetermined conclusions.
